As everyone around the world now knows, a new President of the United States of America has been chosen. Barack Obama was elected, with a fairly sound majority of the vote. Am I happy with the choice, not really. Would I have been happy with McCain/Palin, not really although I do feel they were the lesser of the evils. Quite frankly though, I just didn't like any of the choices this time around. What I do find scary is the massive spending Obama did when the economy is not in good shape. Someone who is willing to throw that much money at a campaign is likely willing to spend way more money once they have access to it. Time will tell though. For now all we can do is wait and see just what Obama brings.
