The picture below has two identical dolphins in it. It was used in a case study on stress levels at the Mayo Clinic and later at Fletcher Medical Center in Burlington.
Look at both dolphins jumping out of the water. The dolphins are identical. A closely monitored, scientific study revealed that, in spite of the fact that the dolphins are identical; a person under stress will find many differences between the two dolphins.
The more differences a person finds, the more stress that person is experiencing.
Look at the photograph(can click it if you need a larger view) and if you find more than one or two differences, you may need to take a vacation.

Added some pictures from a recent trip to Vancouver. I was up there for the Cansecwest 2008 conference. The conference had some interesting talks and the Vancouver area has some very good food, beer, and a lot of sights that are within a quick car ride. Now I'm back home and missing the Granville Island beers. |

I've migrated the site over to the latest version of Joomla, and in doing so decided to give it a bit of a redesign. Some features are gone, others changed, and others added so look around. There are likely to be a lot of changes over the coming days as I tweak the site to the look I want. One of the biggest items that will likely be broken are the image links found in the Links section as I've replaced the image gallery with a slightly better and more configurable one. |

I've added a Stargate SG-1 Ark of Truth Wallpaper to the images section. The direct-to-dvd movie was released on Tuesday. Managed to get a chance to watch it yesterday and if you are a fan of Stargate SG-1, I think you'll find the movie is very well done and is a great ending to the Ori saga. Great to see the characters back on the screen, even if it wasn't the big screen. |

A very loud, unattractive, mean-acting woman walked into Wal-Mart with
her two kids, yelling obscenities at them all the way through the entrance.
The Wal-Mart greeter said pleasantly, "Good morning, and welcome to
Wal-Mart Nice children you have there. Are they twins?"
The ugly woman stopped yelling long enough to say, "Hell no, they
ain't. The oldest one's 9, and the other one's 7. Why the hell would you
think they're twins? Are you blind, or just stupid?"
"I'm neither blind nor stupid, Ma'am," replied the greeter. "I just
couldn't believe you got laid twice. Have a good day and thank you for
shopping at Wal-Mart." |

1 cup of water
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup of brown sugar
1 cup lemon juice
4 large eggs
1 cup nuts
2 cups of dried fruit
1 bottle Jose Cuervo Tequila
Sample the Cuervo to check quality. Take a large bowl, check the Cuervo
again, to be sure it is of the highest quality, pour one level cup and
drink.
Turn on the electric mixer...Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy
bowl.
Add one teaspoon of sugar...Beat again. At this point it's best to make
sure the Cuervo is still OK, try another cup - - - just in case.
Turn off the mixerer thingy. Break 2 leggs and add to the bowl and
chuck In the cup of dried fruit, Pick the frigging fruit off floor...
Mix on the turner.
If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers just pry it loose with a
drewscriver. Sample the Cuervo to check for tonsisticity.
Next, sift two cups of salt, or something. Who giveshz a sheet. Check
the Jose Cuervo. Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts. Add one
table. Add a spoon of sugar, or somefink. Whatever you can find.
Greash the oven.
Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall over. Don't forget to
beat off the turner. Finally, throw the bowl through the window, finish
the Cose Juervo and make sure to put the stove in the dishwasher.

There are three men in the bathroom, two Englishmen and an Australian. All are at the urinals. The first Englishman zips up and walks over to the sink and uses a lot of soap and water and before he leaves. He says to the others, "In Yorkshire, I learned to be clean and neat." The second Englishman zips up, walks over to the sink and uses much less soap and water but is still very clean. He says, "At Bredford Academy, I learned to be clean and neat but still be environmentally aware." The third man zips up and heads straight to the door. The Aussie says over his shoulder, "In Australia, we learn not to piss on our hands." |
